Brownstein Hyatt Farber Schreck Founder and Chairman Norman Brownstein was honored with the prestigious 2026 Navy SEAL Foundation Fire in the Gut Award. The Fire in the Gut Award is one of the Navy SEAL Foundation’s highest honors, recognizing individuals whose character exemplifies exceptional grit, selfless leadership and an unwavering commitment to serving others. Chairman Brownstein’s lifetime of leadership, dedication and service makes him a truly deserving recipient of this recognition.
“What has always motivated me is the belief that we all have a responsibility to leave things better than we found them,” Chairman Brownstein said while accepting his award. “Whether that’s helping communities, creating opportunities for others or bringing people together to solve difficult problems, that sense of purpose is what keeps the fire in the gut alive. The Navy SEAL Foundation embodies that same principle in a more profound way. You are ensuring that those who serve, and the families who stand beside them, receive the support they deserve. That’s a mission worthy of all our admiration and support.”
Chairman Brownstein was honored at the Denver Trident Tribute on Oct. 8, a benefit event hosted by the Navy SEAL Foundation to support U.S. Navy SEALs, Naval Special Warfare operators and their families.
